How Does an Erectile Dysfunction Penis Pump Work?
Approximately one in four men over the age of 60 are affected by Erectile Dysfunction. SomaTherapy-ED Vacuum Erection Therapy and our erectile dysfunction pump uses today’s most advanced medical technology in order to mimic the body’s natural processes and help men overcome Erectile Dysfunction in order to return to a healthy, satisfying sex life.
The majority of reported cases of erectile dysfunction are caused by health conditions that impede the function of the cardiovascular system. Medical conditions linked to the development of erectile dysfunction include diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, prostate cancer, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. As these conditions progress, decreased blood flow throughout the body leaves the erectile tissues without the pressure required to maintain an erection.

Do Penis Pumps Work?

Over 90% of our clients have found relief with our erection therapy systems, regardless of the underlying cause of their Erectile Dysfunction. Our simple 3-step process can help you get the results you want, when you want, leaving you and your partner satisfied.
Impact of Untreated Erectile Dysfunction
The chronic nature of the causative medical conditions can initially dash hopes of relieving the symptoms of erectile dysfunction. Without treatment for erectile dysfunction, individuals often report the development of serious mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression, and an overall quality of life decrease. A lack of self-confidence and feelings of inadequacy can damage relationships with partners and have an overarching impact on all social connections.
Natural Treatment for ED Symptoms
With the advent of the vacuum erection device, no one has to live with the symptoms of erectile dysfunction any longer. This innovative treatment option naturally pulls blood into the erectile tissues to help men maintain an erection without medication or invasive procedures.
Vacuum Erection Device Components
Depending on the selected system, the SomaTherapy-ED Vacuum Erection Therapy kit includes:
- Manual or battery operated negative pressure device, or pump head
- Vacuum chamber cylinder in one to three sizes
- Primary and secondary comfort inserts
- SomaTherapy-ED lubricant
- Loading cone
- Tension rings
How to Use an erectile dysfunction pump
Since the device uses the vacuum to send ample blood flow into the erectile tissues, a good fit is important for achieving the desired results. Users must utilize the right cylinder and comfort insert sizes to facilitate a snug fit around the flaccid penis. With the right fit, these components allow for removal of the erect penis from the device without any discomfort. The SomaTherapy-ED lubricant assists with the proper fit and helps users achieve an airtight seal during the pumping process.
The manual or electric pump head screws onto one end of the cylinder and one, or both, of the comfort inserts push onto the other. The penis is lubricated and slides into the cylinder. Activate the pumping mechanism to draw blood into the penis, causing an erection. Once an erection is achieved, users can remove the system and transfer a properly sized tension ring to the base of the penis. The tension ring will keep the penis erect by ensuring that blood remains in the penis.
After the initial fitment process, and upon learning how to use a vacuum pump, the system only requires the completion of three quick and easy steps to fully engorge the erectile tissues.
Users have found our vacuum erection device to be effective and easy to use:

Erectile Dysfunction Exercise
Erectile dysfunction pumps work best when practice sessions are conducted prior to using the device for sexual intercourse. By using the device to create and release erections several times a day for a 1 to 2 week period, you are performing exercises similar to physical therapy. Pulling blood flow into penile tissues that have been inactive and then releasing the erection stretches penile tissues and brings about elasticity and penile health.
In the absence of erections or regular blood flow to arteries and blood vessels in the penis, these tissues can atrophy, shrink, and become hardened. Depending on the amount of time since sexual activity has occurred, it may require erectile dysfunction exercise.
Urologist often refer to this process as penile rehabilitation and frequently prescribe penile rehabilitation following a radical prostatectomy. However, the underlying concept of penile rehabilitation is erectile dysfunction exercise. This is the fundamental that applies for men who have not been sexually active and want to use vacuum therapy effectively.
